Des' family had been so wonderful to Olivia and Tyler after Des vanished. They just em brassed them even more and just really helped out as much as they could. She was still young, only twenty-three, when Des vanished and she'd only been a mother for two years. She didn't know how she'd be able to be a parent without Des by her side.
Luckily, his parents helped out. His mom taught her so much about being a mother. Having lost her mother when she was seven, she had absolutely no idea how to be a mother or what to do. She and Des were making they way along quite nicely and after Des vanished, his mom helped her even more and more. Everything she knew about being a mom, came from Beatrice and she'd always be thankful for her.
Olive smiled as she thought of Tyler, their baby boy....well, he wasn't much of a baby now that he was five but he would always be their baby, she guessed. "He's five now." she told Des, "And growing like crazy. I swear, before I know it, he'll be taller than me." She said was a laugh. She knew that definitely one day Ty would be a lot taller than her. Her husband was a foot taller than her and she wasn't that tall to begin with.
Olivia watched Des blush a bit as she smiled weakly. She felt awful that he'd been looking at her instead of where he was going. “Yeah, I guess I wasn’t,” She shrugged a bit. “If it bruises, I’m blaming you,” "What? Why me?" she asked, laughing which was causing her nose to wrinkle a bit.
“It’s all your fault, you and your intense beauty, how could anyone be expected to avoid lampposts in your presence!” "Oh yeah," she said, "Intense beauty, sure. Keep telling yourself that's what caused you to bump into a lamppost, Des, if it'll help you sleep at night." She rolled her eyes. She didn't think herself a beauty but if Des thought she was one...well, she'd let that one slide.
"Tiny Little Olive", as she thought of herself sometimes when she felt short, went up on her toes and kissed where her husband had just been rubbing. "Better now, love?" she said with a smirk as she went back down. “That’s it, My not-so home.” "Hey," she said, "I believe when ever you're with the you love the most, you're home, no matter where you are." She smiled and looked up at the love of her life. "And I'm home as long as I'm with you, Des."
((OOC: Sorry this took a little longer than I usually take to get up, Eli. I'm in tech week for my show and the run starts this weekend. Can't wait to read your next post :-) ))
