He can be annoying sometimes, though he's much more patient than he knows, and puts up with more than most people realize. Despite being quite jittery and cowardly, he'll always tough it out for whatever adventure Amy and the Doctor may feel like going on. He's extremely loyal, and will do anything for the people he loves, if they need it.

HISTORY: Rory was born and raised in Leadworth, a small town in England. He wasn't a very out-going child-- running around madly like most toddlers didn't appeal to him, although he was quite good at getting into trouble. He was an unassuming child in his early school years, not outstanding, not horrible. One of his first friends he met there-- a girl named Amelia Pond.
Amelia was like a Mr. Hyde to his Jekyll-- she was spontaneous, outgoing, and a leader by far. Most often, it was Amelia who chose what they would play that day, whether it was dolls, tag, or the Raggedy Doctor. Being the kid he was, he put up with it all, though not gleefully.
By the time they both had grown up, Rory had developed romantic feelings for his childhood friend. They did indeed start a relationship, though it always seemed Amy was looking for something more than her kissogram life. It came along in the form of her imaginary friend, the Doctor, at the time Rory was working in the Royal Leadworth Hospital, using his job as a nurse to try and get his way through medical school. Rory was quite jealous and protective when they clashed heads at first, but he soon grew to accept the Doctor, and get himself a little more self-confidence along the way. That brings us about up to the present.

Katy plastered her ear up against her door. Were those footsteps coming, or leaving? As they passed her door, she stayed still as a stone, until they audibly turned the corner and were out of sight. Nervously opening the door, she peeked around, checking for anyone that was still awake this time of night. No one. Her fuzzy slippers making almost no sound compared to boots, she snuck down the hall, and stealthily entered a lift, going to the bottom level.
As she waited, she leaned her head against the wall, closing her eyes. Normally, she wouldn't be up at- she checked her watch blearily- two in the morning. However, high levels of caffeine and boredom had shoved her usual pass-out time off a cliff. So, she had decided to do something completely and utterly redundant. She was going to look for some real food.
She sighed as she padded out of the lift. Like that was ever going to happen. The government had installed those food-machines which never made any real food, and didn't see the need for anything else. So, they were left to gnaw on hard-tack, which didn't even taste like hard-tack. What a rip-off.
Tip-toeing down the hall, she stopped. It seems they had activated a new room here. What was that about? Looking around, she creaked the door open. It was pitch-black, though Katy could make out some rough shapes. They looked like appliances, funnily enough. Was that a frying pan hanging from the ceiling? She couldn't tell. Wait... A fridge! Yes! An actual fridge, with the possibility of food being in there! She trotted over gleefully.
She threw open the door, light spilling out, illuminating a human figure. Startled, she shrieked, grabbing the nearest thing she could find-- a toaster. "Who are you?" she growled, shaking the toaster menacingly.

Where did you find us?: An ad!
Rules: Yes, or else you probably wouldn't accept this, would you? Being accepted is nice.
Apologies for the extremely short family and history sections, Rory doesn't exactly have much background going for him. If more's needed, just ask, and I'll see what I can whip up-- hopefully.
