Doctor Who

The Doctor

Status: Time Lord
Age: 907
The Doctor is a renegade Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who, as a voluntary exile from his homeworld fought injustice where he found it. One of the few among the Time Lords, he survived the Last Great Time War with the Daleks. Throughout his life, he had a particular association and affinity with the planet Earth and its Humans.


The Master

Status: Time Lord
Age: Over 900
The Master, formerly known as Koschei and later by various temporary aliases and pseudonyms, was an evil renegade Time Lord who had grown up with the Doctor on Gallifrey, and was opposed by him many times. On at least one occasion, he threatened the existence of the universe itself. A possible reason for his diabolical madness was a never-ending drumming sound inside his head, revealed to be a link retroactively installed by the Time Lords on the last day of the Time War in order to further their own goals.


Amy Pond

Status: One of the Doctor's current companions.
Age: 21
The Doctor confirmed that Amy is no ordinary girl and it was unlikely that the Time Crack in her wall was there by chance. Amy shared a very close friendship with the Doctor; this friendship, along with the Time Crack, allowed her to remember him even after he was erased from time and she managed to bring the Doctor back into her universe.


Rory Williams

Status: One of the Doctor's current companions.
Age: 28
Rory Williams is Amy Pond's boyfriend and briefly a companion of the Doctor.

River Song

Status: Prisoner of Stormcage Containment Facility, but will escape when called upon
Age: 45
River Song, earlier a doctor and eventually a professor, was a mysterious archaeologist. She was also a convicted murderer who shared a close relationship with the Doctor. Significantly, she knew the Doctor's true name, which he would tell her at some point in his future. She would often greet him by saying "Hello, sweetie", whether in message or in person.

Torchwood Three

Captain Jack Harkness

Status: Leader
Age: True age unknown, appears to be 42
Captain Jack Harkness (sometimes simply "Captain Jack" to those close to him, or as the Doctor refers to him Captain), was the name adopted by a con man from the 51st century and an associate of the Doctor. His original identity remains a mystery; whenever asked he refuses to answer. Reluctantly immortal and stranded on early 21st century Earth, he headed Torchwood Three.


Gwen Cooper

Status: Police Liaison/Field Agent
Age: 31
Gwen Elisabeth Cooper was a Cardiff Police Constable who was recruited by Torchwood Three, rising to second-in-command (and temporarily commander) of the unit.


Medical Officer

Age: 25-35
Is the replacement to the late Dr. Owen Harper.


Computer Specialist

Status: Toshiko Sato's replacement on the team
Age: 20-30
Is the replacement to the late Toshiko Sato.


Ianto Jones

Status: Administrator/General Support
Age: 26
Ianto Jones was a member of the Torchwood Three, initially serving as more a "support man" or "tea boy" but later taking a more active role in missions.


Arwen Llywelyn

Status: Unofficial Bodyguard/Field Agent
Age: 23
Orphaned by Torchwood One at the age of 16, she was forced to work for the Torchwood Institute until the downfall of Torchwood One. She then went underground until Torchwood Three's leader found her and offered her a job with him and his team.

NOT EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN A TORCHWOOD TEAM IMMEDIATELY. I WANT THIS SITE TO HAVE A VARITY OF OTHER CHARACTERS.
