PERSONALITY:
The TARDIS is old, a much like her Doctor she has an appreciation and love for all living things. She has an overbearing need to protect all that enter her doors, and will always do so. She’s particularly sweet, for a time machine. She has a good sense of humor and likes to poke fun at her Doctor whenever she gets the chance, or whenever a Companion opens an opportunity. But the symbiotic link between the Doctor and herself puts TARDIS into the undeniable loyalty that she serves to him. He is, if anything, the most important thing in the world to her. TARDIS, along with her sweet nature, is rather motherly. She’s always poking and prodding at the Doctor and the Companions making sure vitals are always solid and that everything is alright with her inhabitants. She’s also rather intelligent and she respects her Doctor’s peaceful way of handling things, and easily models herself after his example, preferring to made friends rather than enemies. She also, much like he does, has a sense for adventure and wonder. She’s just as curious as he is when traveling and often sometimes can blame herself for the strange and sometimes dangerous places they end up in.

HISTORY:
Originally part of 305 Type-40 TT capsules, TARDIS was grown on the home planet Gallifrey. However, like all grown models of a machine or even a living creature machine such as the Type-40 TT capsules, everything has it’s time. “TARDIS”, not named that however at the time, was first symbiotically linked with the Timelord Marnal. This particular Type-40 was run until, much like any other machine even a living one, the 305 of them were eventually decommissioned and replaced with a newer model. The Type-40 TT capsules were put into a junkyard and were planned to be destroyed to complete the decommission cycle. To her lucky, Marnal’s Type-40 was stolen or more as her new pilot likes to think ‘borrowed’ from its impending doom to be the new partner to “The Doctor”. Recallibrating a new symbiotic link with her new Timelord companion, the Type-40 gladly accepted being a runaway versus being decommissioned despite her terrible state of work.
Susan, the Doctor’s granddaughter gave her a name, creating the acronym “TARDIS” as in Time and Relevant Dimensions in space, giving the Type-40 a name. The TARDIS has traveled with the Doctor for some time now, but due to the fact her decommissioned state was in such a wreck when he ‘borrowed her’ there was a lot that didn’t exactly work. Her chameleon circuit, for instance, was broken causing her to always appear like a blue police box. There were some other problems that occurred, she hardly lands where she ought to and she always has a way of finding the most trouble when it comes to the Doctor. Despite that, she still travels and flies at an optimal capacity and the Doctor never seemed to complain despite her several malfunctions. The Doctor and the TARDIS have been flying around with one another for nearly nine hundred years, as his Nineth creation calculated. She has seen him regenerate and she has befriended and cared for every companion that has ever stepped through those doors.
This is where things start to get tricky. The TARDIS has a nag for repairing herself, mostly when she crashes, causing her to recalibrate her system and often come up with a new ‘desktop’ design. The repairs on the TARDIS never seem to stop. The Doctor occasionally working on her as well as the slight repairs she has always been doing to herself to keep herself running. During the recent crash that caused her to completed remodel, the Chameleon circuit wasn’t completely over looked this time. However the damages were quite extensive and the TARDIS repairing itself – like any living being would try to do –has found that it’s difficult, and when she wasn’t repairing herself from the other mishaps that the Doctor got her into, she was repairing the Chameleon Circuit. Fixing it to the point where she does have the ability to turn invisible – though the Doctor is yet unaware of this. And finally, now has the ability, hopefully, to optimize mobility and turn into a human form, though her appearance in human form is still striking. She can also project this form in a hologram inside the TARDIS to represent herself.
Upon recent events, the Doctor had found another Timelord, a little Time Lady called Elita. Having been present for the Time war and the destruction that was caused. The TARDIS instantly took the same motherly kick to the girl as she did the Doctor. Without a voice at the time, having just managed to fix her chameleon circuit. She didn't have the ability to protest Elita being left behind to protect Amy. Nor did she have the ability to properly land after completing her repairs. But upon Elita sneaking in along with Amy Pond. Elita was the first to witness TARDIS in her human holographic form, as she expressed her joy that Elita was not harmed.

POST RP EXAMPLE:
Jean Grey from X-Men Evolution SiteEverything was so frustrating. She hated everything about herself. Why did she feel so comfortable not having her powers? Because she thought it was a good thing. Just like everyone else she thought they were going to finally fit in with everyone else. She thought that without their powers they would be normal human beings. She was excited to think that they were going to fit in with everyone else. Without their powers what were they? They were human. Yet they were still segregated. They weren’t as openly punished for who they were, but they were definitely still in a world where they were barriers between the normal people and the mutants. There was still that definitely line, it was especially seen at the college. But everyone was coping knowing that one day there was something better on the horizon. The Professor always gave them hope. She was now regretting ever getting comfortable with the idea of being human forever. What would she gain from it? Acceptance from the people that hated her for no reason despite knowing her and who she was? The people who stopped trusting her purely because she had the ability to read their minds. If they knew her at all as a person did she seem like someone who openly invaded minds? That was Emma Frost thanks
Without the Professor they needed to think of a way to fix everything. She didn’t know how she was going to do that. She wasn’t allowed to really do anything. She was the only one that could fix it in her own twisted mind. She was going to fix this even if she wasn’t supposed to leave the Mansion to search for the Professor. She was supposed to hold the fort with everyone else. She was driving herself crazy trying to find answers and they all lead back to one thing. If they had powers. If they had powers they would have been able to take down Mystique not really they couldn’t do that with powers. If they had powers Jean would be able to use Cerebro. If they had powers someone would be able to help Ororo find the Professor. Why wasn’t Wolverine out there looking for him!? Ororo left the two idiots most capable morons gentleman to care to the broken children when Ororo was far more capable of doing so than these two morons! men.
A swift thunk echoed from the training room followed by another. The third was accompanied by a sharp cry that sounded like a very flustered woman hitting something. It was, in fact, a very flustered woman hitting something. There was another loud thunk followed by rapid thunks following it. In the training room, with a punching bag erect in front of Miss Jean Grey, the woman was fiercely whaling on the poor punching bag. She didn’t stop, she was sweating, unattractive, unhappy, and she really didn’t care. Her red hair was pulled back into a ponytail and the amount of skin she was showing she was normally uncomfortable with, but the sports bra and shorts were the proper attire for punching something. Hands were wrapped in bandages to protect her knuckles from splitting. She was pretty sure no one knew she was down here. She didn’t tell anyone and everyone had slacked back on their training since they lost their powers. What was the point right? So she didn’t expect anyone to come down here or come looking for her. She almost didn’t want to be found. A hand rested on the swinging punching bag and she took a breather, rolling her tiring shoulders back before lining up for another round.
